Ashleigh Ritchie is a disability training consultant with a difference. Being disabled myself she has an in depth, realistic appreciation of the needs of people with disabilities, both as employees and as customers. She has delivered equality and diversity, disability awareness and customer service training; written programmes for profoundly disabled people, given them strategies to enable them to make the most of their lives and situations. She is also a disabled dancer, breaking down barriers between able bodied and disabled dancers and lectured instructors on how to adapt dance movement for any disability. She’s also had a lot of experience of job carving creating job roles, identifying strengths and writing a job description.
