Esi is it a wonderful speaker and addition to any panel conference. She is open, transparent and funny and really willing to share her own experiences to raise awareness and teach others. I've learnt so much from Esi and would definitely recommend her and Celebrating Disability.

Delivered:  A talk as part of International Day of People with Disabilities celebrations for the Disability ERG "Thrive"

Esi is a really engaging speaker who brings to life how to think differently about disability inclusion - empowering both disabled colleagues and allies to leverage the strengths of disabled colleagues whilst being cognisant of the barriers that may inadvertently be placed in their way. Esi engages the group very well - allowing colleagues to share their own perceptions and then sharing her own insight into how to break through any barriers.

Delivered:  A talk for the whole organisation and a tailored training session

Having the conversation was the biggest game changer for me, we haven't spoken up about this as a group before, and creating a safe space in both sessions really helped people talk about their experiences, questions, etc.

I love Esi's honesty, energy, and passion for disability inclusion. She also helps everyone in the sessions with making links to intersectionality which is so important in today's world and workplaces.

Delivered:  A series of talks to support disability allyship

I organised a series of webinars to be facilitated by Esi, to help our colleagues understand how they can become allies to people with disabilities. Esi is a a fantastic facilitator and makes a great impact by speaking with clear passion and a depth of knowledge around the subject of disability. Esi is very engaging with her audience despite them not having their cameras on, she still manages to facilitate an engaging and meaningful conversation.

If you need expert advice from someone who knows what they are talking about and a bespoke delivery, then speak to Esi.

Delivered:  A workshop on supporting disabled guests

Esi came in and delivered an engaging and interactive session to college students, which linked to their units on Communication and Equality and Diversity. After a talk from Esi, students were encouraged to design different fully accessible venues, such as restaurants and festivals.

Esi is able to engage with students and challenge them to think about all the little things that can be done to make different places more accessible for people with a variety of different needs.

Esi is an extremely warm and engaging facilitator who helped our team explore language, biases and the actions we can take to make our workplace and community events more accessible, engaging and inclusive. I would 100% recommend this training to organisations across all sectors.

I think the pitch and the content was just right. No improvements needed that I can readily think of. The mix of quizzes and team interaction testing the knowledge that you had already shared was spot on.

Celebrating Disability offers a friendly and informative service, which I would encourage all Basingstoke companies to embrace. As a hotel, we have many areas to navigate and Esi did so with confidence and showed great knowledge.

Paul Fearon

I first met Esi at a personalisation workshop, Esi really engages her audience, she talks from a personal perspective, gently challenging your perceptions. She is an excellent presenter and holds the attention of her audience. I would definitely recommend her.

I would certainly be more mindful of the facilities and help we can offer at Osbourne Clarke. I will be more comfortable asking a disabled person of their needs. Thanks so much Esi! Invaluable!

Tim Jenkins

Due to this training session I have now got a better understanding of disabilities which can be put into practice with clients/visitors of the firm.

Kate Morgans

Front of House Staff Osborne Clarke, Disability Training

Really enjoyed this session. Not too intensive and the fact it was a small session allowed more questions to be asked. Light hearted which I thought was great.

Esi has been a great help with advice and guidance on how to work with the disabled community. Not only has she helped us understand some of the issues facing disabled people but suggest solutions on how to bridge the gap between communities. The information Esi provides will help us with plans to work with and employ disabled people and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for professional advice and consultancy on inclusion and equality.

Ray Vernon

Director, MySokoni, Disability Consulting

I have known Esi Hardy for several years and have commissioned her to deliver various sessions over this time including personalisation, disability equality, the social model of disability, charity marketing and value-based practice. Esi is approachable, dynamic, responsive and flexible. She provides an excellent standard of teaching and learning opportunities. Esi is able to challenge assumptions in a supportive way and brings a unique level of expertise and experience. Esi is a joy to work with and I would recommend her to any organisation wishing to develop and proactively support the celebration of diversity in all its forms.

Rachel Harrison
